I got a moment so I will post what I'm thankful for ~
In my life away from here and the threads I am most thankful for my two girls and my Mom and husband.
My girls are my everything and though they are very different they are both my Angels. My oldest daughter graduates from college with 2 degrees and she is amazing and wonderful and I want to be her when I grow up! :) My youngest is disabled and will forever be with us. She has taught me unconditional love and although it's been really hard both physically and emotionally I love her with all I am <3
My Mom and I are best friends. We moved in with her several years ago as she is to the point of needing help. I love being here with her and having so much quality time together. Here is where I belong. My husband is not the girls Dad but I am thankful that you wouldn't know that. He is the best step Dad ever and so good with my youngest it just amazes me. I am so very Blessed by the people around me.
I also feel very Blessed to live where I do. There is always beauty around me no matter where I look or what kind of day I'm having. I am just so lucky!
The sims came along for me at a time where I was lost and really struggling with my life and what I needed to do. It started out as an outlet with sims 2. An escape from the emotions life was bringing me. Then sims 3 came out and for the first time I ventured into the store and into my pages. I met some really awesome people. It took a long time for me to trust anyone with who I am but I found it wasn't scary to let people in a little. Soon I had a few really close friends and we began talking on the phone or on facebook or skype and it was so much fun. We support each other and share a game we all love. I even met someone from here in person and we shared a few fun days together building our friendship.
I am Thankful for the sims and everything it has brought into my life but most of all all of you. Nothing else means as much as family and friends and that is what you've all become to me. Not just friends but a family community. So I am Thankful for YOU! <3
