Ambrosia didn't work .......
Awwww .. why didn't my ambrosia work? My sim made it, ate it ... she got up and got started to float, got very colorful ... it said she was resurrecting and then ..... nothing. She's still a ghost....

I took my sim's stone to the lab after I accidentally starver her to death. She was able to move back in with the family, but I lost her just before she was going to be able to make Ambrosia.
I started a new game with her ghost in it, sent a sim to the graveyard to bring it home, and she haunted the place for ages while he skilled up and made the ambrosia for her. All the while she could not interact with this family, but every night she came to the kitchen for a meal and then took a nap in their bed. When I finally got the Ambrosia made, she ate it and came back to life.
It was a long, drawn-out process, but it did work. I was able to put her stone in the yard, though, while she waited for her hero to get his skills up.
