Any ideas for improving the quality of popular mixes?

Hi my sim is practicing mixology skill. He already got Master of Mood title in skill journal. He learned 2 popular mixes from dance club. Whenever he makes them, the quality is only great or excellent...

@Mikezumi My sims could be unlucky. They made a lot of popular mix, they have never had any even outstanding. Thanks for the help. :)
