Can't place objects!

When I'm in CAW I cannot place objects. The mouse just becomes a strikethrough circle and the object, or tree or whatever, never appears. I have made and activated a new layer so I don't get why it doesn't allow me to place anything.

    Oh, hahaha! You won't believe it but when I went into the tool to take the picture for you I accidentally double clicked on the object instead of dragging it into the window and, well, it appeared. So it was just me making a really really dumb mistake! I'm such a doofus :lol: Sorry for wasting your time!
