FAT SIMS

Ok I was just wondering why that fat sims go back to being fat when they have lost the weight. I know people who are bigger can loose weight, but have a larger chance of putting weight that they have lost back on.

But I keep my guy fit and yet no matter what I do he gets fat again!

This would be a good challenge to loose the weight. and when you get it off you get a nice bonus.

Is there anyway to keep the weight of for good?

Thanks

Lee

  • Yeah, you spend about 2 hours of your sims' life everyday jogging around the neighborhood. Personally, jogging is a waste of time, unless your sim is an athlete or active. You've just got to accept that some sims are more productive and better off being fat, while others are better off thin and muscular.

Not entirely. By completing the athletic skill challenge of jogging 500 kms, which does not really require a high level of athletic skill to complete, a sim stands to live longer by getting a dice roll bonus each night at midnight after they have reached the expected end of their elder stage. The nightly roll is what determines if they are going to die of old age and can expect a visit from Grimmy later that day or continue living until the next sim day.

This is assuming we are talking about TS3, though. This thread is from over ten years ago when TS3 was just released and is on the TS3 section of the forum. I am sure that things are very different with TS4, which is where much of your recent posting seems to be. :)
  • I pretend some fitness Sims are training for a triathlon. I have them sunrise swim and go for a bike or run after work. I downloaded some CC bikes so it doesn’t look like they’re training on a junker. That tends to keep them in shape.

I wish we could select something for our Sims to do over their lunch break, even if they remained in the rabbit hole.

    Edit: oops I didn’t realize this was a necro....or TS3 ??‍♀️
