I don't know if I love, or hate this pregnancy glitch. It was time to have a new baby or two in the house and I started ramping up the romantic encounters. To make it interesting, I increased the chance of quadruplets to .025. Nobody was getting pregnant. I tried harder. And HARDER. Still no babies forthcoming. Windows wanted to do an update, so I shut every thing down and let it do its thing. When I started up again, all my female sims were pregnant, including the lesbian couple (yes, both of them). I upgraded "Chance of Quadruplets"=.025 This could be very interesting. I'll let you know, by editing this post rather than creating a new one.
I guess if I want multiple births, I need to ramp the chance up even higher. They all had singles. I named four of them after members of one of my favourite bands. They will be forming a band and joining the music career later. Two adults seem to be able to look after the lot. I just have to keep the others occupied so they don't interfere. For example, I put a fed, snuggled, changed, rested, baby on the floor (because I only have 2 cribs) so the crib can be used for the the tired baby (they don't like to fall asleep on the floor) after they've been fully tended to. Unoccupied sims keep putting the rested baby in the crib so that I won't have a place to put the tired baby.
