Game Crashing after 5 minutes of gameplay (real time) - screen frozen, clock stopped, sims frozen...

Have to go to CTRL-ALT-DEL to Task Manager and shut process down...and this is happening quite often now. I'm figuring that the R5 Integrated Chip is on its way out. EPs (only EP that I don't have ...

Your RAM usage is fine, I don't see anything even close to 2 GB and we know the game can work with almost twice that. But the CPU shouldn't be so overwhelmed at startup.

Have you run the clean folder test yet? I'm going to guess maybe not since in the end I'm looking at an overstuffed household of 10 sims with finances over §98 million.
