GlenDonnach - The Scottish Highlands (UPLOADED)
After a lot of experimenting, I finally decided to question my long-held belief that the visual style of the sims 3 does not lend well to the portrayal of Scottish houses. Thus, I have created a brand new world based on the lush countryside of my home country.

It is a large map which covers an expanse of Scottish countryside, featuring a distillery, railway line, small villiage and plenty of farms and ancient structures. The world and all the lots have been be made by myself to give the world as much character as possible.
SPEC: I have aimed to make it to the best standards as possible, including spawners and many hidden areas. It does not contain any any custom content other than the rabbit holes (see below).
- It will need Riverview, World Adventures and Ambitions to work.
- Functionality for most rabbit holes relies on the use of Jynx's rabbit hole doors (most rabbit hole buildings are WAY too big for scotland in my opinion!!). They can be downloaded here: http://customsims3.com/forums/thread-53.html
As a side note, the world takes advantage of Simsample and GiLaNg's unlocked neighbourhood objects (which show up fine if you have ambitions) Thanks should also go to Regina at bogsims.com and MrCrumplebottom1 for some of the road textures.

PERFORMANCE NOTES: The World has been playtested for two sim weeks with little issue. There are a few minor routing irregularities which have either been fixed in the save file or are unavoidable due to the small nature of the houses etc. The bare world (but not savegame) is missing some lot descriptions. Needless to say, if any issues arise please don't hesitate to inform me.
