How To Make a Sunken Room On a Second Floor (Tutorial)

YOU NEED TO USE "CONSTRAIN FLOORELEVATION FALSE" FOR THIS PROCESS

I will put in parentheses where (*CFE*) is needed.

Step one Make a foundation, does not matter one size.

Step 2 Make a wall on top of the foundation like this.

Step 3 Make another wall on top of the one you just made...

Step 4 Make a foundation on the side like this, with a wall on top.

Step 5 Now you have to get you level tools and flatten the one wall you made like this. (LEVELING TOOL) (*CFE*)
Photobucket
Step 6 Now after that is leveled you would have to make another wall on top of that. this is what the step before should look like: (TURN *CFE* OFF)

And this is what it should look like with the wall on top of that.

Now this is some final steps!

Step 7 Add the normal stairs they have in the game and when you get to the second floor, you have to (*CFE*) so just place your stairs where you want them on the second floor make sure you take some carpeting away for the stairs to show (THEN TURN CFE OFF)

Then cut some more carpet out where you want your sunken room and you are finished. And don't forget to put the stairs down so your Sims can get to them. :)

YOUR FINAL SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS FROM THE OUT SIDE.
