So the exchange is a big no no isn't it? Well I guess that answers it. But I would like to hear from people that have experiences with TSR since some people say it is safe, and some people say it is not, I am very confused!
It comes down to this: You should always check any sims3pack you are going to install in your game with CUSTARD before you install it. CUSTARD will tell you if anything is wrong (Like if the sims3pack has the bad counter in it). As far as the exchange is concerned once again those are sims3packs check them in CUSTARD before installing ( Remember this: all CC in the exchange came from a site other than this one). As far as TSR is concerned I have been downloading from there since 2010 and have had no problems. It is even better now cause all the downloads are free. Also something I do before I unzip anything I download, is I use the scan feature from my anti-virus program in order to make sure there is no virus before I open it. So if you Scan and use CUSTARD you will minimize the dangers of downloading (It will not wipe it out but it does help a lot).
