@Charlottesmom - My late dad used to do stained glass lamps, which came naturally since he was in glass-work cutting commercial windows with a glass-company. It was his hobby. :)
But trust me, it gets expensive. Especially since every time you go into a glass store, you see new panes of stained glass that look really interesting. And it's something that you have to have a specific room for with specially designed shelves for sorting glass and a glass-cutting table where you do your assembly.
