Stylist career issues

So I have a max level stylist for a while now. I want him to move on to the next career, but before that I want to complete his portfolio. I'm currently at 72%.

I think I understand how to do that - I need to successfully complete each of the 40 tasks available for stylist, that are triggered randolmly every morning.

The thing is, that sim is a stylist for 24 weeks now, and still didn't cover all of the tasks, just repetitions of tasks he already did.

I found out that I can trigger those tasks using testingcheatsenabled, but I could only trigger 14 of those (the rest are greyed out, saying that I don't meet the requirements to trigger those tasks, even if I;m supposed to).

However, using the cheat I found the missing tasks (it's not exactly the titles, I had to translate):

Junior clothing
Newlyweds' wardrobe
Engagement wardrobe
Single sim wardrobe
Wardrobe for mariage in peril
Promising star
Wardrobe for first impression
Outfit for professional interviews
Rebel wardrobe
Homage and mourning
Party outfits*

*There are 2 tasks about party outfits, I receive one of those a lot, while never getting the other one.

I used to think that with time all of those would pop up but I'm starting to think there might be an issue with those. Also no matter what lot I choose I can trigger the same tasks every time, even community lots, so I'm not sure if I can use the cheat to trigger the missing tasks.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

  • I wonder if they won't trigger because there isn't a sim in the neighborhood that meets the criteria (especially with EA's story progression, you need the help of mods to have inactive sims who are newlywed, divorced, actively seeking jobs and not just getting conscripted as your coworkers, etc.) But that doesn't apply to all of them and is only a theory. I've never completed the portfolio myself but I was only seeking to max the career.
  • I used one of my Sims to get engaged with an NPC, and the option didn't pop up the next day...
But I actually don't know what situation required for each of those jobs...
I mean, I get the engaged one, and the rebel one. The rest I can only guess how to set a scenery that will prompt the job, but that sim like way to much to ask of me in order to get those jobs, especially when I couldn't find that info online so maybe nobody ever succeeded in doing that
