The Goldhart Legacy

Thanks to farming, the family started to prosper. Thanks to the farming background of Edward's family, Edward knew what to plant, where and how. Soon, they had the simoleons required to build a new, bigger and better house. The things started normalizing as the couple slowly escaped poverty. But the island is empty and Edward started thinking that social isolation had taken its toll on the children.

Specifically, one day, Edward realized that his children talk to themselves sometimes. The way they move and talk is so lively, it is as if they talk to someone else. An invisible friend, perhaps? Edward had heard stories of how kids fantasy runs wild, but as the traditional, conservative man he was, he wasnt willing to tolerate whatever behavior was not normal for him.

Brittney insisted that its nothing serious. Kids these days make things up just for fun, she believed.

Edward however engaged his sons and announced that he can not tolerate this any longer. Not only speaking to imaginary friends is annoying, iti is also embarassing and harmful for the family, so he thought. The kids said that those dolls are alive.

One night, he sneaked into the boys room and grabbed those supposedly "living" toys to hide them from the boys. They will now have to live without them.

He put the toys in his room

Little did he know, that those toys were actually alive

The very next day, the toys were nowhere to be found. An angry Edward entered the boys rooms during the night, he was suprised when he saw the toys just standing there.

Now this time he will hide them to his room and lock the door so the little rascals wont be able to break into his room and get the toys back

He even stood there for a while to make sure that they wont dissapear or anything. Then he slept

But the very next day, when Edward was out tending to his farm, the little magic happened again...

Edward blamed his sons for somehow breaking into his room and reclaiming their toys. He was so mad he lost the toys twice. He believed that the absence of social interaction for his children were partly to blame for this. The boys didnt go to school, as there was no school in the abandoned island.

Edward had a long, thoughtful shower trying to figure out what to do to distract the boys attention from their imaginary fantasy and get them to meet real friend, real people. He decided to try and bring the life back to the Winchester farming community. He remembered that there is a bar and a beach that attract a small amount of tourits to his island. If he finds a way to purchase the bar or the beach and make the island beach even more attractive he could possibly hire more workers who in turn will come and live there or even get wealthy people to build vacation properties in the island. That in turn could attract new amenities to the island; merchants, stories, libraries, a restaurant, even a school!
