The Sims 3 Wont let me move to another house...why is this?

In the sims 3, I want to move my family to another household, but when I open my phone, the "Move" option in greyed out, and says "your household is not allowed to move at this time" whats wrong...

Yes, but it should also just not be selectable rather than causing the game to freeze up if you try to select it anyway.
