I'm here but these forums are horrendous and I wish we had somewhere else to go. The "tag system" is ridiculous, as opposed to forum sections, the lack of avatars in a community known for showing off their custom piccies of their sims is disgraceful considering how much time has passed between announcing a move and actually moving here; the whole forum is now clunky, disorganised and even unpleasant to look at.
Considering it's EA I shouldn't be at all surprised.
it feels like somebody who has no experience with forums got told to make it, and picked the most popular and well known "forum" to emulate: Reddit. Reddit isn't a forum, it's a slightly slower twitter

Yes. IT wont let me change my name without the Zombie bit, which was my EA forum account separate from my sims forum account. I only had an account here for Mass Effect stuff which I barely use. Now I'm stuck with it.
Bummer ☹ That really is frustrating... Well I'm still glad you're here and hope that you'll stick around. Even if it means leaving for a while and coming back only to find that all the issues have been worked out and you can have a fixed name and custom avatar. 🌟🤞🏻💜

That's exactly how I feel. I decided to try using Carl's and ModTheSims forum to see if I can have alternatives while coming here for the old friends.
