NRaas MasterController to trigger an opportunity to begin isn't widely known for corrupting games. NRaas DebugEnabler to grant credit for an opportunity without actually playing through it might be a bit riskier.
But you could, if you have the time and inclination, make a Save As copy of your game first so that you have a safe place to revert to if something does go wrong the MC way.
