- I personally would look at deciding whether or not you are more interested in Careers or Weather effects. Seasons is more of a static EP giving weather effects outside of the Festival Grounds that you can interact with but it is essential in giving the effect of realism in your Sims' day to day lives - after all weather is an essential effect.
However Ambitions provides you with a whole bunch of employment options and new careers as well as "stuff" that you can utilize in your decorating. So in that, Ambitions gives you a lot more than Seasons will.
However if you have the money. My suggestion is to get both. You can't miss with either of them.
