~Winter Wonderland~

Hello again, :mrgreen:

A lot of people have contributed Buildings, Houses, and Sims for Winter Wonderland.

**Important~ Do not play and then go to another World to play. Close down the game and then you can restart the game to play another world. This goes for Playing another world and going into this one. The trees will carry over- you will have white trees in the green worlds or green trees in this white world...It isn't permanent but seems to be a cache thing**

~I left the trees, rocks, and waterfall- MrCrumplebottoms recolored Distant Terrain is also included~ I believe it's Egypt.

I know what you mean ! I felt like I was freezing last night while I was building in this world :lol:

I used a white roof I got from MTS to take pics for a lot I built for this. I'll upload it using the EA grey scalloped roof though, since that kind of looks like it has a sprinkling of snow on it.
I wish EA would put out some roof recolours, or different styles. Some of the game ones really aren't all that attractive. They could get pointers from some of the creators at MTS if they need help :lol:

I find myself using less and less CC as they bring out more stuff, but there are still some areas sadly lacking.

Edit: Also while building some of my derelict dive bars I noticed that they have hidden a few sections of the piping or air conditioning ducts whatever they are, under buydebug, while the rest of them are in the deco section of the catalogue. I wish they would stop doing that, and keep all the stuff together.
There doesn't seem to be anything overly special about the hidden ones.

I did try to whiten one roof to use but it looked horrid... so, I think of it as a sunny week. :)

I'll look into some flowers with snow on the leaves. *fingers crossed* :lol:

Demented, Rflong does not put CC in her world, so you need to remove any CC if you want her to be able to use your house in her world. If you want to keep the CC in, then just save your house until the world is finished and just use it for yourself. Most CAW builders do not allow CC because any new ep, sp, or update can break the CC and make the world not function. It is nothing against CC, it is just the way CC works in Sims 3.

Rflong, the new update that came out this morning, will assure you will not have any problem with your Ambitions lots. The new update fixes the crash caused by using user and EA created Ambitions lots. So for simmers who update their game, they shouldn't have any more problems with that issue. I know you were concerned about it.

I have downloaded the latest release. Do you know whether I can use the "old" savegames with the new version of WW?

EDIT: In order to be on the safe side I just copied my test-household to the bin, deinstalled the test version of the world and also cleared both WorldCache files and the savegame.

I don't know about the old save but they are the same world/name/lots just updated so it should work. I should test it.

Looks unbelievable Rflong, so pristine and lovely. I haven't test played yet, I've been busy building, but still enjoying the scenery as I do. :mrgreen:
