Activation Screen - Cannot type in it

Hello, I downloaded Sims a few days ago on my new laptop but it wasn't handling all my expansions so I uninstalled and installed again with less. Every time I click play on the launcher this comes up, but unlike the previous time it is not giving me any textboxes to log in or buttons other than the X in the corner. I searched and others have this issue but I found no working solution.

I have tried:
- deleting my browser cache
- uninstalling and installing both EA app and Sims (multiple times)
- typing in my credentials as if the textboxes were there
- trying to expand the pop up
- tabbing to get to the textboxes manually (when I tab 3 times and enter it takes me to EA page)
- deleting my [email].bin files in my Documents EA Sims folder
- running both launcher and app as admin manually

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. If it’s a case of waiting it out for the servers to work I will do that.

Extra Info:
1. I am on a Windows ARM
2. It was working perfectly previously (I was able to log in correctly and was able to launch and play without issues).
3. I use no mods
4. I tried installing without any expansions the 2nd time like I did for the 1st

  • Teelanka  Normally, the activation window should only show up once, and if you X it out, it's gone for good and you can play normally.  It's possible that your issue is related to the website issue, but that seems unlikely given that you wouldn't normally have to input your credentials there, so there's no data to be received and validated.

For now, try playing in a new, local, admin Windows account, one with only standard Roman alphabet letters in the username.
