That's normal (that they reappear). They are being recreated but without the info of the mod being present.
Any other mods you have in your game ? A noEffects one ?
No I do not have a noEffects mod or any other mod. Would it be the graphics on my computer?

Well, if you don't have the mosiacs either, it sounds that you still have the mod active somewhere. Did you ever put mods in the old place in programs ? Did you use the Installer Helper Monkey to install something ?
- Yes, i used the helper monkey. Do I delete it?

Yes, delete the helper and check if you have a mods folder in programs. If you still do, delete that as well.
You will also need to delete the resource.cfg in programs\electronicarts\thesims3 (only there, not the one in game\bin)

as well as the d3dx9_31.dll in game\bin (you also have that file in windows\system32. DO NOT DELETE that one.

If you don't have all of these, don't worry.
I have No Mods, and have deleted everything that I was told to. I don't have the helper monkey either. But I still can't see fairy wings or any special effects from the spells. What do I do.
Never mind i had a friend come help me there was a file i was not seeing in the program files that they found 🙂 now hope they update the no mosaic cause i hate that blur

It's updated ..
I deleted my helper monkey and the cfg file, (i have the d3dx9_31.dll but its not in my game bin?) and i've tried to play my sims and my fairy wings still wont show.

Where do you have d3dx9_31.dll ? In Windows\system ? Don't delete that or your computer will have major issues.
Do you have a mods folder in the new place ?
I deleted the mods folder, the d3dx9_31.dll is in my create a pattern tool bin.

Don't think it should be there. Don't have the CAP installed. Move the file to a different occasion (instead of deleting) and see if CAP still works. If it works and you have no other issues, you can delete the file otherwise move it back.
Should not have anything to do with the wings not showing up though.
Is the fairy otherwise a normal fairy or do you have other issues ?
- Anonymous13 years agoI recently got Supernatural from origin and at first I could see sims wings just fine, but when I created my own fairy in CAS, I couldn't use her powers and couldn't see her wings. I don't use mods. What can I do to fix it?
- Anonymous11 years agoCrinrict can you pleaseee reply to my post pleaseeee
- Bazzett20138 years agoSeasoned ScoutI have no mods installed. I do not even have a mod folder that I keep seeing people tell me to look in. I cannot find a no mosaic mod or anything else mentioned. I deleted the cache files listed but I still cannot see fairy wings.
