Re: Sims 3 late night, can't buy a drink?

I have also had this problem for a while now, but buying a new bar does not fix the problem. Everytime I order a drink, the mixologist resets and disappears, and my sim is left standing there. I've just stopped going to bars at this point.

Are you using mods in your game ?

Hi Crin, hope you can help me!
I'm using no mods aside from clothing, and a vanilla copy of The Sims 3 / Late Night. 
The professional mixologist glitch is happening to me as well, but it's not just one single bar - it's every bar in the entire game. 
I like to sit and order drinks - help! 
This is occuring with a newer install, it always worked before. Can you please give me a step by step guide of everything else I can try?

No, not at all, sadly. I've already read through the entire post. 

Bars can be purchased and then work for a while, but it's fairly hit or miss. 
Every bar in every building is broken. Every set of lifts to every venue is broken *though the residential ones work* and I can't even buy and replace them because someone's always 'using them' when I try to! I've even tried moveobjects and testingcheats, but there's still a big issue - is there no universal fix, still? 

Hm, very weird. What happens if you try reset sim?

• open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
• type in: resetSim *
• hit enter

Does it happen only in Bridgeport?
