@kiradreblow_ Sims 3 runs equally well in Windows 11 as in 10. There are some reasons the game doesn't work out of the box, but they're not OS-related. For example, if you get a new computer with a higher-end Intel processor, 12th-gen or newer, you'll need to apply one of these workarouds:
I have yet to see an issue with Windows 10 or 11 that prevents Sims 3 from working and can't be fixed. Having said that, there are a lot of smaller adjustments that need to be made on at least some systems, so be prepared to spend a little time setting things up before you jump back into the game.
When you do have the new computer, feel free to come back for help with whatever issues come up, or just for advice about playing on a higher-end system in general.
