friendship bracelet no longer breaks

I don't think they fixed the bug that's been going around for a while, where the friendship bracelet remains attached internally and gives you an awkward buff.
The next pack is centered around children, so I don't want to buy it like this.
I wish they'd at least remove the friendship bracelet exchange from the wish list.
