Sims 4 last update too big. Cannot play the game
I just wanted to play a nice game of Sims 4 since I've been ill the past few days. Unfortunately, there is a new update which takes 15gb to download? I don't even have that much space left on my laptop. I finally cleared up enough space to download the update and it takes like 5 hours to do so.
The worst part of it all is that I cannot even play the game anymore as long as I don't do the update. I've tried everything. From trying to go offline to asking chatgpt. I find it absurd that I've paid a lot of money for this game and it's expension packs just for it not to start. I hope EA reads this and realizes this is rip-off behavior. Just let me do the update another day and let me play the game man...
I'm currently in Asia where the wifi is unreliable so even if I have the space I can't do the update. Anyone got tips?
