Expansion Packs Not Loading In

I play the Sims 4 on my mac and had to move from origin to the EA app. After downloading everything in, and trying to play the game, it says that in order to play my last saves i needed to redownload all my expansion packs and restart. After trying multiple times it still says it and I'm so confused as to why my downloaded packs aren't in the game despite it saying on the EA app and on the Sims that my packs are owned. I have also tried repairing the game to see if that would work but it didn't. I was wondering if anybody else had this issue or has resolved it and Im literally willing to try anything. Can anyone pleasee help me bc i don't know what to do anymore!!
