Re: TS4 PC Error 'DisplayName Field Missing From Registry' Since May 28th Patch

Hi there, if anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful.

Every time I try to open up the Sims 4, it loads up like normal until a tab called "DisplayName field missing from registry" pops up. Something I feel is quite important to mention is that the window, for some reason, doesn't open fully. Meaning that only the area to enter my email is available, and the area to enter my password isn't reachable (pictured below). I've done any solutions I've found online, such as:

changing my password, adding two step verification, logging out of the ea app on my laptop, logging back in, allowing the ea app to run as an admin. nothing changed.

I also had a look at the files (although as I have no idea what I'm doing, I didn't change anything in fear of messing something up completely).

After looking extensively online, it seems that some people never solved it, in some cases it simply... solved itself? And other people have outdated tips (from way back in the Origin days.)

Again, some help would be greatly appreciated!
