I’ve just done it, and it’s working now
Clear the System Cache (Console)
- Fully power off the PS5 (do not use Rest Mode).
- Press and hold the Power button until you hear the second beep (after about 7 seconds) — this will launch Safe Mode.
- Connect your controller via USB cable and press the PS button.
- From the menu, select “Clear Cache and Rebuild Database”.
- Choose “Clear System Software Cache” and confirm with OK.
- The PS5 will automatically restart with the cache cleared, without affecting your games or saved data.
Rebuild Database
Still in the same Safe Mode menu:
– Select “Rebuild Database” to reorganize the console’s internal database, which can fix bugs and improve overall performance
