Sims 4 crashes when loading household

Hi, I’m facing a critical issue in The Sims 4 on PC after the August 19, 2025 update:

• I can open the game and reach the main menu, but when I try to load any household — even newly-created ones — the game crashes to desktop (no error message) or hangs indefinitely at the loading screen.
• I’ve tried all standard fixes: removing Mods/CC, deleting the localthumbcache.package file, and repairing the game via EA App. None of this helps.
• This issue consistently affects all households and is completely blocking my gameplay.
• I’m not alone — many other players report the same behavior in other threads.
