[MAC] SIMS 3 64 Bit bricht ab

wie viele von euch habe ich mich sehr auf den release von SIMS 3 64Bit & Metal gefreut.
Habe es heute direkt mit meinen Erweiterungspack heruntergeladen. Das funktioniert auch...

Hallo,
Ich habe ein MacBook 12 (early 2016).
Gestern habe ich Sims 3 Bit an Methal für Mac installiert. Es ging auch alles. Der Launcher öffnet sich und der Startbildschirm geht ganz normal los. Es funktioniert alles bis zum Hautmenü.
Dann kommt die Meldung „Sims 3 wurde nicht richtig installiert.“
Ich habe es gelöscht und neu installiert. Auch nur das Basisspiel. Die Meldung kommt immer wieder.
Es wird auch kein Ikon von Sims 3 irgendwo angezeigt. Weder im Menü, noch unter Programme oder Spiele.
Der Sims 3 Ordner unter Dokumente/ Elektronik Arts/ Sims 3 erstellt sich aber beim ersten Öffnen des Spiels.
Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich möchte unbedingt wieder Sims 3 spielen.
Catalina und Origin sind auf dem neusten Stand.
Soweit ich das als Laie erkennen kann, ist das „alte“ Sims 3 deinstalliert.
Dasselbe Problem habe ich auch. Beim Basisspiel alleine, wie auch mit den Add-ons.
Es scheint ein bereits bekanntes Problem zu sein (siehe Forum, das ich unten verlinkt habe). Anscheinend bleibt uns nichts anderes übrig, als darauf zu warten, dass EA den Fehler behebt.

This appears to be happening to a lot of Simmers, contact Support and tell them you need the 64 bit version - you MAY have to speak to several advisors before this is successful.
“It says one of my expansions isn’t compatible with the base game!”
Not 100% sure on the cause of this one but people have managed to fix it by renaming the “The Sims 3” folder in Documents -> Electronic Arts and starting the game up again. Might be something to do with having old versions of the Sims games still present on your Mac (or some of the files from it). Not sure. No one knows why. I promise you you won’t find out by asking.
And for the big one:
“My game says verification error, installation not complete, please reinstall!”
Unfortunately, they know. We all know. That’s why this thread is so long. Developers weren’t expecting this, it didn’t show up in any testing, the problem occurred post signing off the game. Unfortunately once you get the error there is currently no way to get your Sims 3 game to work, don’t reinstall, don’t touch anything, it’s unfortunately just a waiting game.
(Yes, there are a couple of people in the thread that have got a working version of Sims 3 64 bit. All of these people got their copies through contacting support several hours after launch. Don’t ask them how they got theirs working, they didn’t do anything special. Again, waiting game.)
I know this is frustrating. I know.
No one wanted this to happen after the announcement a year ago, least of all the Development team that have worked their behinds off trying to make it happen. Please, please don’t get angry with them, they’re doing everything they can to get the game working.
