Pink Lines and Inaccessible Ocean in Island Paradise 2
To be constructive for a possible solution to the problem I am adding more Issues that I am encountering.
First thing, it seems (from what ive been reading in forums) that the issue is happening in the new M Chips from the latest Silicon Valley tech. Only seen comments on people using the M1 and I myself use the M2 and the occurrences are the same.
Erros.
1 ~ When you first open the game there are two pink lines, one at the bottom of the screen and one on the right side of the screen, almost as if something that wasn't cropped correctly got filled with a pink hue.
2 - These lines are not appearing only in the initial sequence of the game (which has terrible quality and could be remastered), they appear randomly through out the game, as the photos below will show.
3 - Inability to access ocean activities, when hovering the cursor over the ocean and clicking there are no interactions available, that's literally what it says, on a pack that is about ocean exploration, please understand the bitterness.
4 - Elaborating on that issue, I can access the ocean interactions if I click on it through a sail boat, or from what ive seen most aquatic vehicles, with an exception for houseboats and taxi boats, the other aquatic vehicles from what ive seen allow to interact with the ocean, by clicking on them slash through them. This is the only way the sims can swim in any other place than a pool.
5 - Still on this issue I have found that fishing spots allow snorkeling but not fishing as seen on screenshots attached below. Also it seems that the boats are half sunk, it looks like the water passes right through them, they are floating above the water, but are also filled with water, not a major issue since it is easy to ignore but it might help.
6 - Last thing Ill say Ive found to be wrong is that the game can't properly adapt to the screen, when you try to increase the resolution to stretch it out all it does is reduce the size of the UI, blurring it , making it unreadable.
7 - I'll leave specs from Mac and performance monitor for you to check the values and confirm that these issues are in the game. I am assuming I am running the 64 bit update for Mac. I can't really. find that info anywhere. Also leave a screenshot of my home page so you know what licenses I own and play with, in case that helps.
Really looking forward to see this problem taken seriously cause after 10 years you are asking 20 euros for a pack that doesnt work. No one can do anything about it, and people have been trying according to the internet, it is your product, your code, our money, we expect help.You can't just abandon a faulty product you still sell.
