AMD Crossfire!

I'm not sure if SLI users are having a similar issue, but Crossfire is creating crazy artifacting.  In the training area, right up until you get to the 'combat scenario' (so as long as you are in the Tron looking area or free running area), everything is fine.  But once you get into a more realistic game environment, the game creates all these artifacts all over the screen, making it unplayable.  Random numbers and letters appear everywhere, along with geometric shapes.  It is very strange, especially since it doesn't occur during the first part of the training.

Now, I know that Crossfire has it's share of issues, and a single strong card is better than two weaker cards, so I don't need those comments.  I have what I have.  My PC plays the game just fine at high settings on one card, but I'd like to get the full potential out of my system, so some support on this issue would be nice.

I'm running 6850 in crossfire, on 13.12 drivers, I've been able to minimize the grapical glitches with a combination of settings from posts I've googled.

1-Trilinear, instead of anistrophic filtering, this made a big difference

2-Turned off Frame Pacing in CCC

3-Used Black Ops 2 profile in CCC

The game's at least playable, but the artifacts do show up for a second or two a few times a round. Anyone else find anything?

im running 7970's in crossfire also and only fix (temporary i hope) that I found that worked was playing the game in windowed mode without boarders, but not through the ingame menu settings but by doing the following

    Open origin

    right mouse click on Titanfall

    scroll down to properties

in the Command Line Arguments type in    -noborder 1

this plays it in windowed mode without seeing the boarders etc, but there is no screen curruption I have found.

    Give it a go.

Playing in windowed mode disables crossfire.  If I disable crossfire, everything works fine, but considering my gpus are quite old, the performance hit for me is extremely noticeable.

I've found some maps glitch less than others, has anyone else using temporary fixes found the same?

It seems like the key is to find the right crossfire profile, CSGO seems to be 98% glitch free for me, makes sense since it's also a source engine game.

I think I'll experiment with profiles for other source engine games, and update with results.

So far, other source engined game profiles have not yielded anything close to CSGO for me.  CSGO can only run with low graphics settings, medium textures, and no anistrophic filtering.  Turning on any of these effects glitches out the graphics too much to play.

  • If any of you are still having issues like I am since the patch, could you try setting shadows to low and see if that removes any flickering/artifacts?

In my 4+ hours of troubleshooting with EA (joy...) not a single rep suggested trying that, but since I've discovered that "fix" I haven't had a problem. I'm curious if I'm the only one or not.

Crossfired 7970's if anyone's interested, by the way, with 8GB RAM and a 2600k CPU OC'd to 4.5Ghz
