Can’t find a match on Titanfall 2 multiplayer

I have just got back into titan fall 2 and I checked to see if there were any active players still on the game so I searched it up and it said like 25k so then I try load up a match of atriction and nothing happens for hours. I tried restarting, switching servers multiple times and some other suggestions I saw but I can’t get into a match but then one of my mates get on and we try do some frontier Defense and we get into a match of that in no time… does my level have to do with it (I’m level 20 cos I switched over from ps4 to Xbox and my friend also did but he is just starting his acount)
