There's a few posts about this, but this seems to be the most recent so im gonna join this - Its been a while since i played TF2 so i was unaware of all the commotion going on with the hackers and such but yeah..
I'm getting the exact same issue as of 27/07/21 on Series X - 2500+ ping, and screen freeze/ black screen - sometimes it kicks me, sometimes it doesn't and it just sits there - The servers were supposed to be "freed" by the hacker/ ddosser but nope, seems not
Heres to hoping it either gets fixed or they just do TF3 already

But yeah, I haven’t been able to get into a single Defence for 3 days so I’m with you on unplayable - it’s not even a case of getting into any matches at all unlike some other people have managed to
