Can we get an official update for the "server timed out" issue?

This issue has been known about for 4 years, and seemingly been ignored by ea.

This definitely isn't a problem exclusive to Steam.

It probably isn't a hardware issue on our end.

We've contacted support, tried every solution, contacted our isps, some of have found success but for the majority it hasn't solved the issue.

Again this has been known for at least 4 years, stop pretending our isps or hardware is the problem, or else provide evidence to the contrary.

Anyone else reading this who has this issue contact ea, either through twitter, support, etc and demand they address this, after all this is a paid product.
