Can't set resolution higher than 1920x1080 in Titanfall 2

Hi! 

I see a few topics about players unable to set resolution to 4K. Myproblem is even tho I have a native 2560x1440 monitor Tha game caps resolution to 1080p. I tried to edit the local videoconfig file and set the default resolution to my native, but it still resize it to max 1080p. Also every time starting the game it resets the resolution to 1280x720. I have the latest Nvidia driver WHQL 375.70. Anyonbe was able to solve the issue or got any usable answer on how to solve it?

    Managed to find the reason. If you have a multi monitor setup and you duplicate your native 2560x1440 on a 1080p monitor/TV and let your GPU scale up your 1080p screen to 1440p than for some reason Titanfall 2 considers your primary display to be a 1080p monitor instaed of the 1440p. Disconnecting the duplicate screen solves the issue. Interesting I don't have this problem in any other game not even in Titanfall 1 🙂

    I ve use the solution that give Airwolf to this until fix the problem that works:

    the solution:

    C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\local\videoconfig.txt

    "setting.defaultres" "3840"
    "setting.defaultresheight" "2160"

    same problem here, but i found a solution.

    Disconnect any other panel from your VGA, use only your main panel.

    yeah? and what about those that dont even have another panel connected and still got the same problem? I have a 1440p native screen @ 120mhz refresh rate on my laptop and its giving me the same issue.

    It works! The lowest resolution still appears in the game settings, in my case it is 2560x1080. But I noticed that the mouse cursor became small and the textures sharper, working perfectly at 3413x1440. Thanks for the tip!
