I'm currently trying to download titanfall but cannot.
I have portforwarded, reset hosts files, ran as admin, uninstalled and reinstalled.
All i get is a error message saying "Origin tried to install Titanfall but was unable to. Just select yes when windows asks for permission."
But im not getting a windows popup giving me the option to hit yes so my download fails.
I'm having this problem with another game. Was a fix ever found?

Please restrict your posts to the correct forum for your own game. Thank you.
Okay then, Let's say I'm having this problem with Titanfall (because really this problem is with ALL the games) but it's seriously the same. exact. problem. these people were having. I started a thread for it in my own game section and then found this one. I was merely wondering if a fix was ever found, because it doesn't matter what game it's for. The problem is with the Origin downloader, not the game.

I just got TitanFall and am having the exact same issue. I have followed all leads from the web and nothing, nada, nico, zilch. A little help would be very appreciated.
Here is the message in the dialog box.
"Oops... Windows blocked our attempt to download game content. If you'd like to allow Origin to download content to your computer, select "Retry" below. When prompted, grant permission within the User Account Control pop-up."
What I have done from a connectivity perspective
I have my firewall disabled in Windows.
Kaspersky protection is "Paused until Reboot"
My Cisco router has been reconfigured to allow the necessary ports.
My hardware
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with SP1
12GB of RAM on a liquid cooled processor
512GB SSD drive for OS
🏀 2TB drives for games and other items
Please, anyone.
