Checkpoints seem to not work
Checkpoints not working in the campaign.
Bought the game through Steam, set it up with my origin account, and tried out the oh-so-beloved campaign. I die to a careless mistake. Cool, I've seen the checkpoint pop up so I should be go-- wait, no, it's restarting the entire mission. I can't skip the cutscenes either. Fine, whatever. Try again. Die at another point to another mistake. Restart mission. Hell, the "load checkpoint" button doesn't work, either, even if it says "checkpoint". Die even later, after booting up BT, and yet AGAIN it boots me back to the start of the mission.
Now, I'm stuck here because EA doesn't allow you to submit a bug report directly to them. I'm pissed off and at a complete loss. EA hasn't changed a damn bit.
Its 2024 and the problem persists, but this time is not a EA problem, its a Microsoft problem...

"Figured it out (at least for me), so for some reason you my pc is under some kind of security mode where I have to go to Windows Security and allow individual files to make changes to my computer. So it was trying to save the data (the mission) into the games file, but the game was not given access.
So go toWindows Security > Virus & threat protection > Protection History > Threat should be Titanfall.exe located in Documents > Actions > Allow"
So to solve the issue do as follows...
To disable this from repeating go to windows security > virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Manage Controlled Folder Access > Disable Controlled Folder Access
*First restart steam and Origin/EA app then restart campaign* (this worked for me)
