ERROR 401 BYTEVAULT_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED
When I try to connect to a game I always get error 401 BYTEVAULT_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED. I have already tried repairing the game twice but I continue to get this error. I've double-checked all ports...

Apparently if you get this 401 error it means you were banned. Thats what I was told in a pretty unclear manner.

Lets try to figure this out ourselves since there is no solution nor a proper explanation and EA is just the worst company and extremely incompetent (I am not talking about the friendly community here, they say they can't do anything about this). Or you can just wait some weeks (or months?) for the almighty accountdisputes@ea.com and pray that they wont send a bot response saying you cannot play the game ever.
Ok so we can start with asking some questions like:
where did you buy the game? origin or store? (Me: store)
What region is the game? (Me: EU).
Have you managed to enter a match at all? (Me: no)
Were you using origin prior to installing titanfall? (Me: months ago only a couple times )
Is there any chance you might have a reason for suspension that might be considered cheating (mods, 3rd party programs etc.) or any (even if a little) bad behaviour? (Me: no, no)
Do you have a second account? (Me: yes, one that I have forgotten lol )
We have to understand what the hell this ban that they keep talking about really is. Are we banned from just titanfall? If so why would this happen after redeeming code and installing and running the game successfully and before even entering a game. And if it is a ban, where does it state that we were banned and why get a weird 401 error instead of a proper ban warning?
What we are facing is just unacceptible. They can not have the rights to just ban us without notifying us and giving an explanation of what we did wrong and expect us to wait for weeks to resolve the issue. Best case scenario we get an answer like "we made a mistake 2bad sorreh for that. Go on u can play the game now after all your buddies are already bored and quit ;D " I wish there were some lawyers amongst us :/

well from my understaning if EA ban you from certian forums or boards it shouldnt effect playing games but it does as all accounts are linked together.
A 401 BYTEVAULT_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED means you have being banned across EA platform. its crazy really that they are allowed to get away with stopping you from playing games you payed money for and suposse to own
the following qutoes were found on EA forums. they have said it doesent affect you from playing other games. they lied it does!
"If we suspend or ban you from the forums, that does not affect your in-game account and certainly it does not impact your in-game account for other games,"
