Hi @GregTheSpark.
I appreciate the details!
If you switch back to the Virginia servers are you no longer running into any disconnections at all? It's only happening when you're connected to the servers in New York?
/Kent
I think I've figured it out, @EA_Kent and @Masmont94
I managed to play 4 games of Attrition on the Virginia servers. I can, with enough experience, conclude that this has never been possible for me on the New York servers. Being on the east coast of Canada, New York understandably would be where I'm connecting to by default, giving me less than 40 ping. On the Virginia servers, I don't seem to be having any disconnecting issues while only giving me 20 ping higher on average than NY (calling that a huge difference would just be nitpicking)
With this in mind, I will continue to do some testing, playing more matches, and I will report back when/if I disconnect while on Virginia 1's servers. I'm fairly comfortable in saying that there must be some bug over in the NY side of things, that may only affect certain people. After discovering that connecting to Virginia 1 gives me no issues at all, I think this is absolutely something that needs to be looked into. I also invite anyone else experiencing the same disconnection message to check whether or not they're on NY servers. It tells you in the bottom left corner in the main menu, and you can click on the location shown to change where you're connected.

This seems to be the case. It's definitely an odd theory, but in my mind and from what I experienced, this is what's going on.

Well, i didnt even get notified that people are answering my post.
First of all, thanks for your testeing and your replies but im fearly certain that its not a problem with the servers. Atleast not for my case.
Second ,Ive build a new pc a few weeks ago and tried TF2 again and it worked perfectly, eventhough im still using my old GPU for the time beeing.
And, im from Germany, so i doubt that im playing on the NY servers but im not 100% sure.
I dont know what caused the the problems in my case but eventough i have a backroundprograms running again. (Norton, Steelseries Engine, MSI Afterburner and so on)
- 5 years ago@Masmont94 Oh and yes, i did try to repair, reinsatll, clear all caches and so on. Ive been in this for hours/days before building my new pc.

Thanks for following up!
Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, you haven't been seeing any freezes at all since building your new PC?

That's strange.
Did you replace your RAM or add more of it when building your new PC?

I'm just gonna pop in here, I've read all these conversations and I have a few things to say about my version of this issue. I can play the campaign just fine, but I can only play multiplayer after restarting the computer. When I've restarted I can play the game for a currently seemingly infinite amount of rounds, but if I alt-tab or close the game at all then it breaks and proceeds to freeze and kick me out to the main menu with the message stating I timed out. I've tried everything the internet has said, like, change data center, change ingame network, change settings to recommended, try repairing the game. None of this has worked. I really don't want to reinstall the entire game, but I'm reaching that point. This started happening right after I bought the game through Steam, and it was fairly uncommon, happening after every 5th game. the next day it was after every 3rd. yesterday it was every 1st or 2nd. Today I can't even sign in the multiplayer. My game is pretty much literally killing itself with this bug, and now I can't even go onto multiplayer.

Would you mind sharing a DxDiag here when you've got a chance? For more info on how to pull one up check out the EA Help website.
Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!

Assuming I did everything correctly this should be the information you're looking for? While you do your stuff with this I'm gonna reinstall the game entirely. I'll probably come back and describe whatever it did, if anything.
So I reinstalled my game and I really thought it would fix the issue, but it didn't as soon as I got into the game and clicked the search button (I only have Attrition enabled because its my favorite gamemode, but it happens on all the others too) and then two seconds into searching it froze for 7 seconds, resumed for 5, then timed out. I am well past the refund period for steam so unless this gets fixed I get to have yet another broken unplayable game on my steam list.

Something tells me this issue is on Respawn or EA's side and it needs to be fixed through a patch. Which sucks.

Much appreciated!
Have you been keeping an eye on your temperatures while you're running a game on your PC? I'm curious if something might be running too hot, considering that it looks like other apps have been crashing as well.

While playing Titanfall 2 my computer reaches 44C at maximum, even when fighting about 20 nuke titans at 1 time, So something tells me it's not overheating.

Got it, thanks!
This is only happening when you alt-tab the game, correct? You aren't seeing any issues like this at all if you don't switch window focus?
/Kent

Well it actually happens all the time, alt tabbing just speeds up how fast it crashes.

Ah, gotcha.
I wonder if this might actually be a driver issue. I noticed that you're running into some LiveKernalEvent errors in the DxDiag you attached, which can point to a driver problem.
When you have the chance can you try doing a clean reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers to see if that makes any difference at all? If there is a problem with the driver that may help fix it. Let me know if that makes any difference for you.

For a bit I thought reinstalling drivers did the trick. But once again after about 2 hours of playing the game froze and kicked me out of multiplayer. Those two hours were glorious, but it all came to a very aggravating end. The drivers didn't do anything.

Thanks for following up. I'm sorry to hear it's still happening.
Are you currently using any kind of overlays while you're playing, like the Discord overlay for example? If so, can you try disabling them to test and see if that makes any difference at all?
/Kent

I disabled the Steam overlay and the Discord overlay and also apparently disabling Origin Ingame doesn't disable the overlay so... It did nothing! Froze 10 seconds after loading the multiplayer menu. Nothing does anything. I am convinced now that I will never be able to play this game. Every new [Admin - removed] idea that shows up just doesn't work at all and it's been a month or so since getting the game and the whole time multiplayer has been unbelievably broken and apparently everyone else who has had this problem has fixed it and I'm still here sitting in the most unlucky corner of the planet with a version of the bug that appears to be IMPOSSIBLE TO SQUASH!

Disabling Origin In-Game should disable the overlay. If it doesn't there might be an issue with the Origin client not allowing the settings to stick.
Could you try clearing out the Origin cache to see if you're able to disable the overlay afterward? You can find more info on how to do that over at the EA Help site. Let me know if that works, and if it has any effect on the crashes.

Hey @Ybarraplz,
If you have the chance could you share a DxDiag so I can take a look? For more info on how to get the file visit the EA Help site. Once you have the text file you can attach it to this thread. Thanks!

I appreciate it!
Looking through the diagnostics section in the DxDiag I noticed some bluescreen errors, and it also looks like NVDisplay.Container.exe has been crashing. This might point to an NVIDIA driver issue. When you have a chance can you try doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers to see if that helps at all?
To remove the drivers you can try running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU is a third party software so use at your own risk), then you can download them again from the NVIDIA driver website. Let me know if you're still running into the same issues after that.
Thanks!
