Frontier Defense Scoring

I have noticed several times that I'll check my score during the game and I will be in front of everyone else (by a wide margin) and then at the end I'm in last place.  This isn't just because someone else has scored more points either.  Some of my points are being taken away (I've definitely noticed Titan Kills).  This has been happening to me the past week or so.
