Game crashes at loading screen every time. Nvidia driver error message

I have yet to actually play this game despite hours of trying. I can start up the game fine. I can change the options on the main menu. But when I press play to go into the lobby menu, it will go to ...

I've tried both the ms fixit tool and using DDU, neither of them did anything.

This is so insanely frustrating.  I really don't think it's a hardware issue since I can still play other games fine.
