Game telling me that my card does not meet level 10.0

I have a Nvidia 680 SC 2 GB video card and it is a DirectX 11 card and Origin is telling me I need a level 10.0 card to play the game. I do not know if Origin program is having problems reading video cards specs or not. I would like a answer on why I am having problems being the game installed fine and my drivers are 335.23 which was supposed to fix problems with Titanfall.

I found the problem, When I reinstalled Windows 7, Windows had installed my drivers and i did not see any problems until I wanted to play Titanfall. Even though Origins tried to help me it gave me the wrong steps. I did a clean wipe of my video drivers and went to Nvidia and downloaded with letting Windows reinstall them and voila the game started. Windows I think did not install all the components that was needed.

Yes, I did and that did nothing for me and I optimized the game to play on high.

  • Well it seems that EA cannot fix my problem and maybe donot know how to address it. I went to them twice and the first one gave me steps that had nothing to do with my problem and the second was picking at needles. I am hoping someone may be able to help me. My specs are as follows

    Intel i7 4770K 3.5

Nvidia 680 SC 2 GB Latest drivers 335.23(Would try my Nvidia 770 SC 4 GB but it is too big and I broke one case trying to fit it in)

    16 GB

    ASUS Sabretooth Z87

    CS Storm Mid size case

    LG DVD Burner

    Pioneer Blu Ray burner

My DXDiag report is post before this one, I used repair to see if it will work and no such luck. I believe it is on Origin end and thier software misreads some people's specs while eithier installing or before it goes into the game. I get a "Card not level 10.0" and if I remember the 680 is a level 11 card that uses DirectX 11 and also PCI Express 3.0. I hope somebody will be able to help me since EA cannot.

Update: I installed Titanfall one of other computers with the following specs

    Intel i7 3770K 3.5

    Nvidia 770 SC 4 GB Driver 335.23

    16 GB Ram

    SB Fatality sound card

    Dual Blu Ray burners

Titanfall ran without any hitches and I did not get the any error messages, however I still believe it has something to do with Origin being the 680 is a level 11 card. Of course I can use the other machine but I rather use the 4770K machine.

nVIDIA moved its GPUs from Dx10 to Dx11 starting with the GTX 400 generation.  AMD had moved to Dx10 after nVIDIA made that move, but jumped ahead to Dx11 with their HD 5000 series.
