Gameplay Mic Trouble for TitanFall

Every time when I put in TitanFall my headset mic stops working. I don't understand why it worked fine for all of my other games including Battlefield. Is there a reason this keeps happening? Also when it does finally start working if I disconnect my mic for even a sec then turn it back on it stops working. I haven't been able to chat with my friends while playing the game while playing which has been a real bummer. Any way to fix this?

Okay my bad. We don't have a tag system here in Answer HQ. Even if you used the Helpcenter website and went from there to Answer HQ, we are not able to see what platform you are.

We are aware that some Headset plugged in via the adapter have general issues with the Xbox one. This should not be the case with the original Xbox One headset. It sounds for me like an issue with the Xbox party-chat and not the ingame VOIP right?

Can you please check your privacy settings in your Xbox one and check following Xbox One troubleshooting guide regarding the party-chat:

    Please keep us updated.

Does only the ingame VOIP is turning your microphone off and are you still able to use applications like Teamspeak or Skype?

Could you please check your ingame VOIP setup and tell us the model of your Headset?

Yes it's worked perfectly fine with the other apps and games I've tried it in. Especially Skype. But for some reason every now and then my mic whether it's my Xbox default headset mic, or my TurtleBeach XO Seven's the mic stops working on startup of TitanFall or just after a few rounds. My friends have noticed this too.

Okay do you use a webcam aka do you have any webcam software installed on your PC? If yes, try to turn it off aka disable/de-install the software and check if it is working now. I guess you already tried to use the Mic with disabled software like Skype and Teamspeak?

    Cheers

My question was for the Xbox One? I thought I selected that option when I first entered this Answer HQ site.

Well thanks that does sound like it makes sense. I did do the privacy settings so we'll see how that goes. Maybe by the time the April update comes out maybe everything will be better. Thanks for your suggestion.

I have the same issue But I think I solved the problem. Instead of using the kinect voice ocmmand or xbox one remote etc use the controller that the headset is attached too. I was having problems witrh my mic but by accident one day I tried turning on the xbox one with the controller and ever since I have been doing that I have not had anymore mic issues (Knock on wood). Before I tried the technique it worked about 80% of the time the mic worked.
