So I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Or worse news. But in the past week I had a friend of mine give me an old xbox of his. Still the classic white, but from like 2010/11 or so. And guess what? The game works.
My friend is one of those IT guys with spare computers and parts and stuff lying around everywhere and he basically cobbled together an xbox for me from multiple old broken souces. Weird, right? Since the beginning he has been telling me he thinks its a hardware issue, not a sftware and couldn't be fixed with an update. He may or may not be right. Who knows. I just know that same disk. Same network. Same TV. Different xbox (with an HDMI out) seems to have fixed the issue for me.
I may try the same set up but with the old cable output to see if i still have the issue. That would at least give you guys a bit more input or something to go on. I dunno. Because I'd like to help since EA, Respawn and everyone has seemingly given up or doesn't care.
I'll let you guys know what happens. In the meantime, i'll keep my fingers crossed we hear somthing.
i find it very hard to believe that its an xbox alone issue. its gotta be something to do with the game. ive sat down in the menues for a bit, flipping through challanges and reading all the stats, and the problem never happened. but when the match loads up, and i play for a min or 2 thats when it happens. and even then, it only happens to the game, and the game menues. the load screens are perfectly clear(the one where you see the big space ship between matches, or even the map load screen). so its gotta be the game. not to forget, but there is a sound issue as well.
