Issue Launching Titanfall 2 via Steam and EA App

I am experiencing an issue when trying to launch Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition, purchased on Steam. Every time I attempt to start the game, I receive an error stating that the game cannot be launched because the EA App is trying to download it again, even though it’s already installed through Steam.

Here are the steps I have already tried to resolve the issue, without success:

  1. Clearing the EA App cache.
  2. Reinstalling both EA App and Steam.
  3. Verifying the integrity of the game files via Steam.
  4. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
  5. Running both EA App and Steam as an administrator.

I have also confirmed that the installation path in the Windows Registry is correct, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise me on how to resolve this problem?

Hi @n1c33333, To confirm when the error pops up, is there any update happening in the EA app?

Same here, tried deleting the license thing at %ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services that was suggested in the other thread, no dice, and any time I attempt to launch the Steam version, it opens the EA App and gives the message "Couldn't launch Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition.  An incompatible version of this game is installed on your device. Uninstall the Steam version to launch."

as of today for me, i have got the akin problem when attemting to run a game.
after installing the game, every attempt to start it results in a launcher error: “Failed to load launcher DLL: \steam\steamapps\common\Titanfall2\bin\x64_retail\tier0.dll. The specified module could not be found.”
The game refuses to run at all. I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps:

-- verifying the integrity of game files in Steam,
    --completely reinstalling Titanfall 2,
--manually deleting the bin\x64_retail folder and re‑verifying files,
    --reinstalling the EA App,
    --checking antivirus exclusions, downloading,
--restarting the system, and running both Steam and the game as administrator.

Despite all these actions, the error persists and Titanfall 2 remains unplayable. I suspect the issue may be related to missing or corrupted system libraries, or a conflict between Steam and EA App, but I cannot resolve it on my own. I kindly request official guidance or a fix that will restore proper functionality.

    help please
