Hi. I bought this game on Origin France. Though, all my friends bought this game from differents websites, and despite that, they still all have the japanese language issue even though Japanese was availiable when they purchased it. I strongly believe that this is just an error, and this can be fixed somehow, because, as my friends, I have all the japanese related files in my game folder. -language japanese just triggers as -language english, if the command was incorrect, the game would not lunch at all, but it does lunch in english.

How did you purchase it exactly? I don't see it in your transaction history. Did you perchance purchase it from another website and then register it on Origin?
I'd need the name of the websites your friends purchased their versions of the game from, for investigation.

I have been following this a bit and I do hope you guys can come to a conclusion as to what the issue is. I have also experienced all languages working except for Japanese.
I purchased my copy as a digital download from Amazon. I live in the US. I have all the VPK files for Japanese.
I have tried:
-language Japanese-language japanese
-language "Japanese"
-language "japanese"
I have tried updating Origin. I have tried to shut down origin, then delete all temporary files to start fresh. I tried changing my Origin locale to Japanese.
I believe that something is blocking the script from running. It could be based on location, but it doesn't make sense if my version can run all other languages and that is the only one that doesn't work.
