I tried that, several times already...
I now managed to restore to the previous instance of the problem, where I don't get hissing sounds in the menu, but do during game play. It is still annoying as hell and makes the new maps and new mode unplayable. Wish I hadn't bought the season pass...
So the new update (5) came out and now I get even more hissing/static noises! During game play in old maps I hear it only occasionaly, but in the new maps I mostly only get hissing sounds. Even in the main menu and burn cards selection I'm now getting it , so annoying. Thanks, Respawn. I may have to give up altogether and just wait for the new Call of Duty.
