Low ping to data center, high ping in-game?

Since launch I have been getting extremely high pings in game (usually 100-150ms). I live in Southern California and my ping to the West US datacenter is 33ms. I play with friends who live in Norther...

I mean why are whey still having this problem. in beta haven't this but now i have it .
