The speed of your internet should not matter too much, all Titanfall asks on the box is you have a min of 512kb on the download which to a point if it was with the speed of your connection it should just be the case that you should connect but lag.
Honestly not sure what the issue is think it may be connection related to a point where maybe the server rejects maybe certain speeds of connections? or maybe a routing issue who knows.
