Wondering if this is ever planned to be patched? Seems like everyone with a newer AMD card since Vega has this issue. Seems ridiculous that nothing has been done to fix it. Fresh install win10pro up-to-date, chipset and video drivers upto date also. Goes from over 250fps to 5fps when an energy siphon hits me. It's definitely a game issue that is way past due for being resolved.
Yeah I remember having this issue a few years ago. At some point it stopped happening, probably because I found some random * autoexec command that happened to fix it. After moving to windows 11 and full-wiping my PC sure enough it started happening again, since I lost that autoexec I was using. If I find whichever specific command(s) cause the issue to go away I'll be sure to reply here again with the fix (along with every other place that says there's no fix, because I guarantee you there is)
Please do let us know if you fix it. I just got a 7900 GRE and this is the only game related issue I've had which sucks cause TF2 is one of my all time favs.
